James Mcdonald - Mundaring, Western Australia

Lors de notre passage à la ferme de Candelight à Perth en Australie Occidentale, nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer James McDonald.

Après plusieurs années de voyages en Europe (Angleterre, Portugal et Roumanie), où il a découvert l'univers du "farming", il rentre en Australie avec un projet en tête : proposer des produits frais et locaux aux plus démunis, mais aussi à ceux qui souhaitent améliorer leur alimentation.

Il se lance alors dans un Bachelor en Développement Durable, rejoint divers groupes, communautés et entreprises actives dans ce domaine et finit par s'installer dans la ferme de Ross Mars, Docteur en Permaculture.

Il est aujourd'hui Nursery Manager et gère l'intégralité de l'activité horticole de la ferme. Un parcours tout en humilité et très inspirant...

During our stay at Candelight Farm in Perth, Western Australia, we had the chance to meet James McDonald. After several years of travelling in Europe (England, Portugal and Romania), where he discovered the world of farming, he came back to Australia with a project in his mind: offering fresh and local food products to the homeless people, but not only... He then started a Bachelor in Sustainability, joined various groups, communities and companies active in this field and eventually settle on the farm of Ross Mars, Doctor Permaculture.
